YAA Jubilee shoot
The Yorkshire Archery Association is putting on an additional shoot in the calendar this year as a one-off to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.
The shoot is designed to attract archers of all standards and would particularly encourage new and inexperienced archers to join in.
Harrogate Archers success at Bronte
St George’s archer’s have enjoyed great success at Bronte‘s Spring Weekend shoot. A Double York/Hereford round shot over two days, the weather was, to say the least, variable and challenging; calm with bright sunshine to strong winds and rain.

Yorkshire Championship success for Harrogate archers

Record turnout for Barbara Williams Memorial Shoot
A record turn out of 37 members of St George’s Archery Club took part in the 10th Barbara Williams Memorial Clout which was held on the club’s ground at St John Fisher School last weekend.

Club Summer Shooting starts Tuesday 3rd April 2012
Dear Members,
All target shooting will be outdoors from Tuesday 3 April 2012.
Club Summer shoots are Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 6:00 p.m. in April and moving to 7:00 p.m. as the nights get lighter. All shoots take place at St John Fisher School. Sundays as usual from 10:00 a.m.

Carol Fairbrother recognised by Harrogate Sports Council
Congratulations to Carol Fairbrother who was named Harrogate Sports Council’s Senior Achiever 2012. Carol was joined by club members at the awards ceremony dinner which took place at the Cairns Hotel, Harrogate on the 1st March 2012.
