St George’s archer’s have enjoyed great success at Bronte‘s Spring Weekend shoot. A Double York/Hereford round shot over two days, the weather was, to say the least, variable and challenging; calm with bright sunshine to strong winds and rain.

Congratulations to Carol Fairbrother who was named Harrogate Sports Council’s Senior Achiever 2012. Carol was joined by club members at the awards ceremony dinner which took place at the Cairns Hotel, Harrogate on the 1st March 2012.
Sunday 29th January is our Snowman Shoot which is our biggest fun target shoot of the year.

Tom Ketley and Ben Daniel of St George’s Archery Club have just had confirmation of their recent Yorkshire record claims. Yorkshire Archery Association has published an updated list of county records and Tom and Ben’s scores mean that members of the Harrogate club now hold a total of 21 county and 2 British records for more »
