Purple tassel for Moira
Moira Salmons from St George’s Archery Club, in Harrogate claimed a top archery award last weekend.
Competing in York Archers Society Open Clout, Moira shot superbly, despite difficult weather conditions, to score 175 points.
Northern Counties Clout Archery Championships 2011
Harrogate’S St George’s Archery Club hosted the Northern Counties Clout Archery Championships last weekend on St John Fisher School’s sports field.
More than 100 archers from Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria, Northumberland and Durham took part and members of the Harrogate club won an unprecedented four individual and two team titles.
